I LOVE MY VAN! With it's BREAK and it's SUCK and it's $$$$!!
Grrrf... my power window broke. AGAIN. Third time since I've owned this piece of crap. Okay, that's it. I'm going car shopping this weekend. Any suggestions on a *RELIABLE* and preferably inexpensive/gas-miserly model? *grfs as he probably has to take it to a shop ANYHOW...* Current Mood: aggravated |

Ooowwwwww... damn sports bras!
Ow ow ow ow... my back! It is official. Sports bras are NOT meant for wearing more than 2 hours when you're big chested. Doing my laundry, had no clean regular bras ( I REALLY need to do some bra shopping... ugh. I hate bra shopping! ), so I had to resort to my spare sports bra during the time my others were in the washer and dryer. Who ever was the GENIUS to create uncupped sports bras for big boobs was a goddamn ASS. Uniboob and back pain from too jiggly no support. Thank God my light laundry is finished now, as I can put a normal bra back on, but my back is KILLING ME. You gals with anything smaller than a D, consider yourself LUCKY. Trust me, you DON'T want anything larger than a D. The back and shoulder pain from hell is NOT fun and NOT worth the "male eye grabbing cleavage". Cleavage is fun, but I'll take a pain free back and shoulders over awesome cleavage any day. And someone please tell me why bra companies flat out REFUSE to believe that anyone over a DD can have a band size 36 and under? 36DDD's do NOT exist in bra world! T^T ~~Bee Current Mood: aggravated |

We're so funny
Yet another typical (for us) husband-wife text conversation while Jason was on the bus on his way home: Jason: License plate: CK GSUS Me: Cock Jesus? Me: (I know it's Seek... But wow.) Jason: I know what it really means, but it so looks like "cock Jesus" or "check Jesus" Me: Jesus has a checksum? Jason: Lol nice to know we're on the same wavelength Me: :D Me: This is part of why our marriage works, methinks. Jason: Lol! it's 0x666 Jason: Definitely. Me: Our wavelength is 0x666? Jason: The checksum is 0x666 Me: Aaaaah. Ok, got it. Jason: Did you get the email I sent with the link in it? [ed. It was a photo of the Star Wars stars, back when they were filming.] Me: Yes. Forgot to reply, again. my ghod, they were young. Jason: The photo... Jason: Yeah. :) Jason: 30 years ago. Me: ::cries:: I'm so old. Jason: Lol! Jason: You just made me snort on the bus. Me: LOL I regret nothing. Jason: Lol Current Mood: amused |

Woooooo, James is my comic friend!
I talk to people a lot about my art, and my life, and just about anything in my head. Like most artists I tend to bounce ideas off of my friends, we riff on stuff and I'll try to figure out what of my ideas work. Basically if you know me in real life I might talk your ears off about what I want to do unless you go running far away from me. Which does happen. =/ Stupid running people. I talk to jameshanrahan (he wrote some of the early issues of Ninja High School and a whole bunch of other comics) a lot about my stuff. I'll call him on the phone and we'll yak about things. We've been doing this for years now. He'll tell me his ideas and we'll go back and forth trying to help each other out. Sadly, a few years ago our big group of friends had a falling out of sorts. And whenever I would post or talk about me talking to James that would get him into trouble for a little while. So, I stopped posting about it and sort of stopped mentioning that I was talking to people, or who my friends even were. But I do talk to people and ask for help on ideas. Recently Me and James had totally been talked about stuff for my cute Catalyst folio and James helped me figure a bunch of stuff out and suggested little things that might be great pictures as stupid cats with weird thing happening. And I want to thank him for being there for me and listen and trying to help me out. Sorry I haven't been talking about you much and don't mean to down play your help. I've sort of been thinking it might get you in trouble even now. Not sure why... snicker oh wait. Still, You're a great help and I hope your feeling better today! -Diana |

You're welcome, Lower Merion Township!
From CNN: What's even cooler is that the trolley in that pic isn't run by SEPTA nor the local government, but instead it is part of First Friday Main Line, a once/month event put on in Ardmore (and surrounding towns) by local businesses. What's unfortunate, however, is that a substantial portion of downtown Ardmore is still legally listed as "blighted". A reminder of our crazy local government's attempted eminent domain takeover from a few years ago. And what's strange... is where they got this "15 minutes to Philadelphia" idea. Did they even drive on the Surekill Distressway? :-) |

That was odd..
Well that was odd, was at work when two girls came in. I had no idea who they were, but one of them had to be someone I've talked to online. Only reason I know that is cause one of the girls knew my aim screen name. If you're reading my journal, give me a heads up as I'm lost to your name, I'm sorry. I'm really horrible with remembering names to faces. |

Darkstalkers Tribute Image
Man, I completely forgot to post this outside of Deviant Art. Oops. Wooot, the Udon guys finally gave the okay to post our winning Dark Stalkers Tribute images. I went all out and made a crazy complicated 5 character image with a background very close to the deadline. Felicia, B.B. Hood, Morrigan, Lilith and Q-bee are having a tea party but someone won't share the honey. This image was mostly done traditionally using markers... I just used the computer to change the greys into different colors and add a few highlights. You can preorder the hardcover version of the book here: http://udonentertainment.com/darkstalkerstribute/Or you can pick up the Con-Exclusive Hardcover from the UDON booth at the following Conventions: July 2-5 - Anime Expo in Los Angeles July 17-19 - Otakon in Baltimore July 23-26 - Comicon International in San Diego August 28-20 - Fan Expo Canada in Toronto September 4-6 - Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle |

Nearest Book
Stolen from bigtig: - Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
- Turn to page 56.
- Find the fifth sentence.
- Post that sentence and these instructions.
- Don't dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST book.
Here's mine: "But if the Cawhatever cult was real, and they really were in Providence, then they'd be looking for Ted while he was looking for them." -from The Mall of Cthulhu by Seamus Cooper Ahhh... Heh, government agencies
Heard about this the other day, still amuses me. So, you know that hugely momentous occasion 40 years ago that was broadcast on pretty much every TV in the nation? That thing where one of the most famous quotes in history came from? That first time we hurled a big chunk of metal with people strapped in up to a lifeless rock and watched them say "One small step for man"? Yeah. NASA actually ERASED the original video recordings of all that.Go figure huh? Not that essentially exact duplicates don't exist in dozens of news archives, but still. Well that's a government agency for you I suppose. |

Friday Match Game #89
The Countess said, "Being married to the Count can be really annoying sometimes, especially when he gets on his counting kick. For example, last night at dinner, he insisted on counting all the _____ on his plate." (W00T! Two weeks in a row. Butter me, I'm on a roll!) |

Making and exact copy
I have a DVD in my car for the Navigation system. I found that parking in some areas I travel to and the extreme heat the car is exposed to, my DVD tends to fail. The result is going to buy a new one. To save a bit on having to buy a $200 DVD and wait a week for it to arrive I am looking into making a backup copy. However there must be some serious copy protection or other tricks they are using as every copy I make creates a disk error when inserted in the Navigation system. Yet the original works perfectly. Anyone have suggestions on what software to use to make or clone an exact copy including any protections they may be using? Thanks in advance... Current Mood: annoyed |

100 push-ups - exhaustion test 2
Just tried the second exhaustion test and got to 35 before I lost form. This puts me right the the top end of the lowest column for the next week (I was 1 away from the middle column, but this is probably for the best). Week 5 looks a little tough but not too bad. if I carry on progressing as I have done I think ill easily be on track for the end of the week :) |

I need to stop worrying about this and realize that I can do this. But on the flip side, it's incredibly depressing to start doing mental math in my head as to how many meals I can get out of a loaf of bread. --End Transmission-- |
