Ham! Tar! Ooooooo!
So, get this. This is the kind of wonderful randomness that gives a convention just a bit of extra kick.

One of the items that was donated for the charity auction yesterday was a huge and rather frightening looking Hamtaro fursuit. Well, we always like to do what we can to make sure the charity can get a decent amount of money. The idea was suddenly kicked around that if anyone bid $1000 or more on anything, Uncle Kage would wear the Hamtaro outfit on stage at an impromptu story hour... and that I would have to get up there with him.

Well... it happened. Someone did indeed bid $1000. And they did it just to see Kage in the outfit. At 10:00pm, Uncle Kage was kicked onto the stage in the Hamtaro suit and Jibba and I both wound up on stage to goof with him. We went until midnight. It was a lot of fun and I hope the audience enjoyed it as well.

So... if you see any strange videos of a Hamtaro suit pop up, you'll know where it probably came from. :)

I have to give it to Kage though, the poor guy goofed around in that suit for an hour, and he did it to get money for the charity. I raise my glass to you, dude. And big thanks to the guy who bidded the $1000 as well. (He gave me a gryphon puppet too!)
